The Company started life in 1988 as a small project. The Group provides total waste management, office supplies, secure data destruction, and food recycling to businesses and the public sector. From our closed-loop recycling solutions to charity donations; our ethical stance isn't just lip service, it’s an integral part of who we are and what we do! Our clients range from facilities management firms at large multi-tenant skyscrapers to financial institutions, charities and media firms and from SMEs to food service chains.

 

Responsibilities:

You will be supporting the Sales Team in all aspects of its commercial activities. You will be working closely with experienced senior members of the sales team with responsibility for:

  • Support for the production of tenders and proposals including pricing templates
  • Ensuring that the organisation is selected to participate in tenders via monitoring public databases and being registered with purchasing consortia
  • Maintaining a tender pipeline
  • Maintaining contacts at industry groups and with purchasing teams at major clients
  • Ensuring that compliance documents are kept current with client and industry portals
  • Developing a full understanding of the market and researching opportunities for sales activity
  • Sales reporting and CRM system support
  • Providing commercial administrative assistance to the team

 

Person Specification:

As a Commercial Sales Support Executive at our organisation, you will have;

  • A personal interest in the environment and sustainability
  • Excellent written skills
  • Numerate and comfortable completing spreadsheets
  • Good analytic ability
  • A commercial approach with the ability to identify and develop opportunities and the desire and drive to help grow a business
  • The ability to develop and nurture relationships with external organisations and other teams in the company
  • A strong customer focus, with good ability to understand customer drivers and respond with appropriate information
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Knowledge of soft services, FM or waste management industries
  • Excellent organisation skills and you will be able to manage your time to ensure work is completed on time
