REPORTS TO: Managing Director

SALARY: From 30k PA (+ Bonus scheme, Myzone Belt and potential for share options)

Job Description: 

JOB OVERVIEW

Your role will be to act as the primary point of contact for a number of client accounts helping retain clients and increase the value of accounts where possible. A secondary part of the role will be to identify new account opportunities, develop relationships and win new business.

  • Assist the Managing Director in developing appropriate sales and business development strategies.
  • Identify new and existing accounts and forge professional relationships at senior decision-making levels.
  • To proactively manage allocated accounts ensuring best in class fulfilment (working with the Operations Director) of the contract/programme.
  • To maximize sales opportunities within the existing accounts and to make customers aware of any changes or new products.
  • To work with the new sales executive to support the identification of new accounts and where appropriate write proposals, deliver presentations and close opportunities.
  • To work closely with our strategic partners to offer additional solutions to the accounts, and to strengthen further our position as the industry leader.
  • To produce accurate weekly sales forecasts and monthly forecasts for accounts.
  • To produce, in conjunction with the client, proposals, programme agreements and contract renewal documentation.
  • To ensure all relevant sales and contact information is recorded on our CRM system which you will be required to use on an ongoing basis.
  • To act as the second point of contact to resolve any issues with Customer Support.
  • To work with and support other company departments e.g. the Finance Department and Operations Department where appropriate.
  • Attendance at selected events throughout the calendar year.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Strong verbal communication skills, highly literate and numerate to confidently act as an ambassador, articulating the quality of the product and enhancing the brand recognition in presenting and providing solutions to business customers.
  • Exceptional proven Account Management experience – likely to be a minimum of 2 years in a Sales or Account Management role.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, commercially astute to appreciate and understand the value, contribution and complexity of initiating, developing and maintaining excellent customer relationships for future business generation.
  • Understanding of the health club market preferable but not essential

ADDITIONAL PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

  • Project Management Experience.
  • Experience of communicating effectively at board level preferable
  • Strong Excel, Word and general Microsoft Computer Literacy
  • A strong work ethic. Someone that recognises working in a small to medium-sized business can be both rewarding and demanding at the same time.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

  • Ability to travel and be away from home on occasion
  • Full clean driving licence
